The Java Pure Roast System
AM-PM coffee has gone that extra step to provide our customers with the highest quality coffee possible. With the installation of our on-site roaster, we now control the quality rather than being at the mercy of outside roasting facilities, with 15 sister roasters, we form a purchasing co-op that also allows us to have better control of green coffee buying, which translates into savings for our customers.
- Convection Air Roasting
Uses convection heat to thoroughly roast the coffee bean from the inside out. Every part of the bean exudes the optimum flavor in the cup and creates a higher yielding coffee.
- Efficient Chaff Separation
While drum roasters can retain some chaff in the finished roast, our system evacuates the chaff as soon as it is separated from the coffee bean. This prevents bitter flavors caused by the burning of the chaff in the roasting chamber.
- Precision Time and Temperature
The Java System roasts to an exact temperature. The drum roaster operator attempts to roast by color, determined by a mere visual inspection
